In the Averted Future the Vredefort was involved in an altercation with the mercenary group Pranger's Bangers in the Celeschal System, which resulted in the destruction of the Colonel Pranger.

The ship was noted to have restaurant aboard ship.[1] Vredfort's design is unusual; it is the only diamond-shaped battleplate shown thus far, and the only one with an annie plant in any location except the corners.
