Shoemaker-Levy

The UNS Shoemaker-Levy is a Carbon-class Battleplate in the service of the United Nations of Sol.[1]

Description[]

Like all Battleplates, the Shoemaker-Levy has interior that allows for a city for its occupants and crew to use.[2]

Ship History[]

Its commanding officer is Admiral Deveraux, and its shipmind is named Levi.

Petey has commented that the Levi's security is "less porous" than other UNS vessels, implying it is (or at least was) technologically superior to previous Plate classes.

Battle of Xuvoth[]

One of the ship's noted actions was when Admiral Deveraux had the Shoemaker-Levy join coalition ships from various factions attempting fight off the Pa'anuri Warship attacking Othlin, the Unioc's homeworld,[3] where the Pa'anurian Warship attempted to use it's Dark Matter nature and use incredible control over gravity to drag the gas giant Urothi out of its orbit and use it to create an artificial star.

In the course of the battle, the ship was able hold off the alongside the others thanks to the weapon upgrades (specifically, the Mark III teragun) arranged by the Plenipotent Dominion.

While the battle was successful in destroying the Pa'anuri within the Warship,[4] the new star created by compressing Urothi self-destructed, resulting in a high probability of Othlin in being sterilized by an artificial supernova.[5] Petey and the Dominion Teraported the minds of the citizens of the planet to a virtual world, while the coalition forces attempt shield planet best they can from supernova blast.

In the aftermath of the Pa'anuri's destruction, the Shoemaker-Levy was struck by Non-Baryonic missiles of Dark matter, resulting in the ship's destruction.[6] However, the minds of the crew of the Levy were Teraported to safety as results of the attack.[7]
